SUBMARINE
Historically present in the underwater telecommunications sector, Précicomposite produces cylindrical enclosures and components in composite materials intended for the integration and protection of technical equipment deployed at great depths.
Our glass/epoxy components combine mechanical strength, electrical insulation, and corrosion resistance. These properties are particularly sought after for installations designed to operate for more than 25 years in hard-to-reach environments.

FERROVIAIRE
In the railway sector, Précicomposite manufactures technical components combining a steel bar with a custom-made glass/epoxy composite casing. Integrated into train traction equipment, these parts utilize the insulating properties of the composite while preserving the mechanical characteristics and electrical conductivity of the steel.
With a service life exceeding 30 years, these components demonstrate the reliability and durability of this material combination. Our experience in this sector also opens up opportunities for the development of new railway applications, particularly where weight reduction is a design imperative.

INDUSTRY

Précicomposite manufactures custom-made composite tubes and casings for eddy current metal separation equipment. Subjected to high rotational speeds, these parts combine mechanical strength, low inertia, and electrical and magnetic insulation properties.
Our mastery of filament winding and machining processes allows us to produce components with dimensional characteristics tailored to the operating requirements of this equipment. More generally, they offer particularly attractive design possibilities for industrial equipment, especially where weight reduction, corrosion resistance, or electrical insulation are major technical constraints.

Equipment intended for the defense sector may require components combining mechanical strength, mass control, and specific functional properties.
Often subjected to high stresses during their design and use, these devices can benefit from the possibilities offered by filament winding. This process makes it possible to create composite cylindrical structures by adapting the reinforcement architecture to the desired stresses.
Précicomposite studies the feasibility of custom-made technical parts based on the specific requirements of each application.
DEFENSE

MARINE & OFFSHORE
Exposure to seawater, humidity and mechanical stresses imposes special requirements on marine and offshore equipment.
Glass/epoxy composites are particularly well-suited for manufacturing corrosion-resistant tubes, liners, and technical enclosures. With components deployed in oceans worldwide, Précicomposite has extensive experience demonstrating the durability of its products in marine environments.
Controlling fiber orientation and structure thickness allows for adapting part design to mechanical stresses and constraints specific to each application.
The areas presented are those in which Précicomposite has developed expertise and know-how over the years. However, they represent only a portion of the possibilities offered by composite materials .
We also study new applications and support the creation of custom technical parts, adapted to the requirements of each project.
